1983: Born on October 9th in Amstelveen, the Netherlands.
1996-2002: Secondary school: Willem de Zwijger College in Bussum, the Netherlands.
2002-2007: Master’s degree in Chemistry at Utrecht University, the Netherlands. Specialization in Organic Chemistry and Catalysis. Thesis title: “Mononuclear and dinuclear iron complexes as mimics for natural oxidation enzymes” (Prof. dr. R.J.M. Klein Gebbink and Drs. Pieter Bruijnincx).
2007-present: PhD research in the department of Inorganic Chemistry and Catalysis, under supervision of Prof. dr. ir. B.M. Weckhuysen. Research: “Towards the understanding of acid-base properties within catalyst pellets and extrudates as a function of their chemical composition and pore structure”. |
